Practical experience. A human approach.

Meet Dr Arinola Araba

Arinola's journey creating the bMoneywize board game connects lived experience, playful learning and practical problem-solving. This programme draws on that approach: notice a need, try an idea, listen to feedback and keep improving.

Bring your own story. The aim is to help you recognise useful skills and turn them into a manageable next step.

A few useful answers

Do I need a business idea already?

No. SPARK helps you explore your strengths and choose a starting point. BUILD and LAUNCH add more support for developing and testing it.

Do I pay for all three plans separately?

No. Choose one plan. BUILD's £695 total includes SPARK. LAUNCH's £1,495 total includes SPARK and BUILD learning.

How does individual mentoring work?

SPARK has group mentoring only. BUILD includes two 30-minute individual sessions. LAUNCH includes four 45-minute individual sessions across the whole twelve-week plan; these replace the BUILD sessions. Suggested LAUNCH timing is Weeks 3, 6, 9 and 12.

What written feedback is included?

BUILD includes one prototype review and one offer review. LAUNCH includes those reviews plus one pilot-plan review. Each submission can be up to five pages.

When does the programme start?

The programme starts Friday 15 January 2027. Your timetable and joining/access arrangements will be emailed manually within two working days of payment. If the supplied times or arrangements do not suit you, contact us before the start for a full refund.

Can I discuss access needs?

Yes. Share the adjustments that help you take part before the programme starts, so arrangements can be discussed with your mentor.

Booking, joining and cancellation

Starts Friday 15 January 2027. SPARK: 6 weeks. BUILD: 8 weeks total, including SPARK. LAUNCH: 12 weeks total, including SPARK and BUILD learning. Choose one plan. Prices are single total payments, with no recurring subscription.

Price and VAT: VAT is not currently added at checkout. bMoneywize’s VAT registration status and the applicable VAT treatment of this mentoring programme are awaiting verification. The checkout setting does not establish VAT exemption, and educational content does not automatically qualify for exemption. The total price displayed when you book is the amount you agree to pay; any VAT legally due will be accounted for within that agreed total, without an additional retrospective charge to you.

Joining details: your place is confirmed after successful payment. Within two working days, bMoneywize CIC will manually email your booking summary, these terms, timetable and joining/access arrangements. Editable resources will be emailed or supplied by download link before the first relevant session. Check spam and contact project@bmoneywize.co.uk if anything is missing. If the supplied times or access arrangements do not suit you, tell us before the programme begins for a full refund.

Cancellation, refunds and transfers

Your 14-day cooling-off period
You may cancel by emailing project@bmoneywize.co.uk within 14 calendar days after booking. If no mentoring has been delivered, you will receive a full refund without an administration charge.

Starting mentoring during your cooling-off period: we will not begin mentoring within 14 calendar days after booking unless you make a separate, express request for an early start. We will explain the services to be delivered and how any proportionate charge would be calculated before you agree. Please send your request by email to project@bmoneywize.co.uk; we will retain your request and our confirmation with your booking record. General acceptance of these terms, payment or receiving resources is not, by itself, a request to start early.

If you cancel during the cooling-off period after an expressly requested early start, we may deduct only a proportionate amount for mentoring actually delivered up to your cancellation, provided we supplied the required cancellation and charging information beforehand. Without that express request and information, we will not deduct a charge for mentoring supplied during this period. Receiving programme resources alone does not remove your cancellation rights.

Cancellation after 14 days
You may still cancel. We will refund your payment less:

  • A proportionate amount for services already delivered.
  • Reasonable, unavoidable losses directly caused by your cancellation, after deducting costs saved and income from any replacement booking.

Any cancellation-related administration costs must be reasonable, evidenced and consistent with your consumer rights, and must reflect actual costs directly caused by your cancellation. The £25 cap is a maximum, not an automatic fee or automatic permission to make a deduction. We will provide an itemised explanation of the work, costs and calculation supporting any deduction. We will account for savings and replacement bookings, avoid charging twice for the same loss, and include any administration costs within—not on top of—the overall cancellation deduction. No administration or refund-processing charge applies when you exercise your statutory cooling-off right or when we owe you a full refund because we cancel.

We will explain any deductions, avoid charging twice for the same loss and never retain more than the price paid.

Transferring your booking
Before the programme starts, you may request one transfer to an available future cohort or nominate a suitable replacement participant. Agreed transfers carry no administration fee. Availability and suitability must be confirmed by bMoneywize.

Private mentoring appointments
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to rearrange an appointment, subject to availability. A late cancellation or missed appointment may count as used if we cannot refill the slot. Please contact us about illness or emergencies so we can consider a reasonable alternative.

If bMoneywize cancels or makes a significant change
If we cancel before the programme begins, you may choose a full refund or an available alternative. If we cancel after it starts, we will refund the undelivered services. If a significant change to dates or delivery arrangements does not suit you, you may cancel the affected, undelivered part for a refund. No administration charge applies.

Refunds and contact
Refunds due will be returned to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of your cancellation notice. Please include your name, selected plan and booking reference when emailing project@bmoneywize.co.uk.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.

These revised cancellation conditions apply to new bookings from 29 October 2026. Existing bookings retain the conditions offered when they booked.

Access and expectations: email us about reasonable adjustments before the start. Mentoring offers guidance; you remain responsible for decisions. No income, funding or business outcome is guaranteed. Resources are for personal programme use and may not be resold or shared publicly. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
